Marla opened Marla’s Minis in 2012. She has a Bachelor of Education degree from McGill University, a license to teach Pre-K, Elementary, and Secondary education in Québec (2009), an A.E.C. in Early Childhood Education from Vanier College, and is a certified MAPAQ Food Safety Manager. Marla has taught at Centre Éducatif À Ciel Ouvert, École primaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys, several Commission Scolaire Marguerite Bourgeoys high schools, and PREP-YEAR 1 at Cambridge (FOREL) International School in Trnava, Slovakia. She was also a lifeguard in the West Island of Montreal for many years. Marla holds daycare first-aid and severe allergic reaction certifications, along with a clear background check from the SPVM.
